The australian shepherd is a hard working energenic dog with a ton of energy. Although the name says different the australian shepherd is not from australia. it is a true american success story. bred for endurance and adaptabitity it can live in almost every climate. it is a working dog witha ton of energy so think hard before bringing one into your home. they do well with active familys but need a good exercize every day. and a walk wont cut it they need to run so unless you can go to the park every day for a few hours an apartment is not the place for them. but if your willing to meet their exercize needs the australian shepherd will be a great companion for you.
